It is the day after the storm so to speak. We had some vivid lightning last night and rumbling thunder. It was pleasant going to sleep to. My power also blinked several times with some of the more vivid lightning. It reminded me of the storms and storm fronts that blow through in spring heralding severe weather.
A look ahead shows our next rain chances coming on Sunday night. The beginning of next week looks unsettled and stormy. We badly need the rain so I am not complaining. I hope this equates to a beautiful and flowery spring. I am so ready for spring that it's not funny. I long to take many photos as the grass greens up and daffodils begin to flower. It has been a seemingly long winter.
