Meteorologist Davis Nolan of WKRN News 2 of Nashville writes...
Last Sunday night on the 10pm news I said that people always ask me, “Is this the hardest place to forecast the weather?” I tell them that it’s not any harder than anywhere else except for one thing: forecasting snow in the wintertime. Why? Because we are usually right on or near the rain/snow line. Well, this situation isn’t any different.
Here is a look News 2's predictor for Wednesday night and Thursday morning. They are definitely on the rain/snow line. Initial predictions are calling for a wet snow around Nashville and changing over to rain as warm air is pulled up from the Gulf by the low.
