From the ABC 33/40 weather blog...
THE WEEKEND: I would not be shocked to see a few snow flurries or sprinkles around here tomorrow night. We will have very strong upward forcing from an upper air impulse, but there simply isn’t much moisture available. A wave will form on the front in the Gulf of Mexico tomorrow night, and will move rapidly northward on Sunday. Our sky should become mostly sunny on Sunday with a new surge of cooler and drier dropping into the state. We will be below freezing by Monday morning.
Nothing would excite me more than to see some of the white stuff flying around. We are suffering during a long drought of wintry weather. I have high hopes this winter will change that trend. Don't be surprised if your local weather broadcaster touts these occurrences ad nauseam. Winter weather means high ratings in the TV business.
