The National Weather Service has jumped on board the Snow/Rain solution for Thursday night for our area. It will all depend on a perfect set of conditions occurring which surprised me with the normally conservative NWS. A Gulf low is still forecast to form as cold air filters in from the north. Needless to say, this all makes for very excited weather fans. If the low moves farther north than predicted then this means a good snow for Nashville and cities north. Stay tuned to the blog for more information in the upcoming days as it is released.
A look at this morning has temperatures hovering around freezing. My weather station shows a current low of 33 degrees. It was another perfect night for radiational cooling with no winds and clear skies. Temperatures should rebound into the lower fifties making for a very chilly day.
