Cloudy, Chilly, Rainy...

There was some initial concerns that we may have some slippery roads before daybreak -- mainly to our north near Nashville. These concerns were mostly unjustified, though, as the temperatures have stayed well above freezing with a southerly flow. We are in for a cloudy, chilly, and rainy day. The main bulk of the moisture is over Mississippi, but will slowly make its way east as the day progresses.

The main story today is the Northeast snows occurring. Many regions of our northern states will see up to three inches of snow. The lakeshore of Michigan and northern New England will have up to 6 inches of snow, according to the Winter Weather Center.
