The weather story for the day is the brisk winds in the Northeast. States such as New York are dealing with some very brisk winds today as one storm front exits and another enters.
Temperatures in the South are mild with a reading of 66 degrees at the 2 p,m. hour. The storms predicted for us overnight really fizzled as they moved into more stable air in the East. We really needed the rain and must now put our hopes on the next system set to move in tonight. It is a stormy pattern and the long range models are hinting at a very active month weather-wise.
