It is an exciting time here in the weather offices of Andrew's Weather Blog. As the latest model runs came in, it was apparent that they are trending colder. Even the normally conservative NWS has gotten on board. The next two model runs will be pivotal in solidifying the forecast. I think it is a pretty safe bet that someone in Alabama is going to get snow. Bring it on, baby!

This would suggest a greater risk of ice or snow for the northern half of Alabama. Stay tuned as this interesting little weather scenario occurs. You will be the first to hear about it on the blog.
