Short Term Forecast

It is still just raining here at 34 degrees.  This is from the National Weather Service so hopefully it will start snowing soon.   

AUTAUGA-BULLOCK-CHAMBERS-DALLAS-ELMORE-LEE-LOWNDES-MACON-MONTGOMERY-
RUSSELL-TALLAPOOSA-
525 AM CST SAT JAN 19 2008

.NOW...

LIGHT RAIN...OCCASIONALLY MIXED WITH SLEET...WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE LATE NIGHT ACROSS MUCH OF CENTRAL ALABAMA. AS TEMPERATURES CONTINUE TO GRADUALLY FALL...MORE SLEET AND SNOW WILL MIX IN WITH THE RAIN...GRADUALLY SPREADING SOUTHWARD TOWARDS HIGHWAY 80. BY 7 AM...MOST LOCATIONS CAN AT LEAST EXPECT A MIX OF PRECIPITATION. RAIN AMOUNTS WILL REMAIN LIGHT...GENERALLY LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH...WITH NO SNOW ACCUMULATIONS UNTIL AFTER 7 AM.

My name is Jonathon Minter. I am 38. I have always been weather obsessed. Many childhood nights would be spent watching the then fledgling Weather Channel and wishing for snow. I grew up and then along came the internet and the wonderful world of weather related sites. I was in hog heaven.
